#LitterWatch2017: Week 22

One of these days I will remember to print out a new sign. In the meantime, it and the rubbish have gotten drenched in today’s downpour, and it all continues to fade in the sun. The crisp packet is nearly white, and even the Coke can is beginning to show signs of fading across the top. After 5 months, most (but not all) of the litter is looking a bit worse for wear; check out the photo from Day 1 above to see how bright the colours used to be.

Lots of other updates this week:

  • Have you made the jump to Off the Ground on Facebook and Twitter? Read the reason for the switch here and please follow the other accounts to stay up to date on activities.
  • Jon had the chance to finish counting the recycling from May’s Big Avon Clean Up, and in 2 hours our volunteers found 248 recyclables: 35 glass bottles, 73 plastic bottles, and 140 cans.
  • See those Share buttons up near the date? You should now be able to share posts from the blog directly on Facebook and Twitter.
  • And that non-litter project I mentioned last week? You can check it out here.
