#LitterWatch2017: Week 33

Once again, there isn’t much to say about the rubbish this week … it is continuing to wear and look rather worn but, with the exception of the runaway crisp bag, it doesn’t really show any sign of disappearing. Indeed, the Off the Ground sign is probably looking the worst of everything on the board!

Personally, I’m finding the items that don’t disappear to be more interesting in their own way: they seem to be practically indestructible. Of course, that means that unless they’re disposed of properly, they will continue to sit along our roadways, in our waterways and oceans, and even in our landfills without much change. It makes me question what we have sacrificed in the name of convenience, and wonder what can be done to find a balance between personal ease and environmental benefits.
