#LitterWatch2017: Week 14

As the weather changes from less rain to more sun, the litter continues to fade: the formerly orange crisp packet has turned yellow and the red McDonald’s fry container has gone a pale pink. Everything else continues to look more or less as it has been: a bit battered around the edges from the board falling over, but otherwise intact.

The interesting thing about this experiment is that the litter is far more exposed than most rubbish, which may be hiding in tall grass or lurking under a hedge. Yet even after bearing the full brunt of the British weather, it continues to show no sign of disappearing.
