I have to admit I didn’t spot any Strongbow products over this past week or during yesterday’s informal clean up at Donkey Field, but we certainly found a lot of it last year. We record three types of this brand (normal, Dark Fruit, and Citrus Energy), and if there were a 10p an item deposit scheme in place, we would have earned over a fiver from this brand alone.
I haven’t done the figures for this next brand yet, but I can almost guarantee that we’ll have found more as it’s one of the most popular types of energy drinks. I would love to see the energy drink producers band together for a series of ads around the idea that their drinks give you enough energy to carry an empty can to the recycling bin!
