Collecting one piece of litter a day (#OneADayInMay)
isn’t difficult, but stopping might be! Here are a few bits that were
collected today in Chippenham. The can is representative of much of
what we find when we go on a personal rubbish walk or carry out a
Community Clean Up – recyclables make up almost half of what is thrown
away. The half-eaten nachos are from Subway and were found near the New
Road Tesco’s. Almost by its very definition, fast food is eaten on the
go and will end up a distance from where it was bought. The genie is
out of the bottle on this type of on-the-go dining–how can we work with
what we know about the behaviour to bring about positive changes?
