We’re nearing the end of #OneADayInMay and the penultimate piece of litter is a crisp packet. If you regularly clean up rubbish, you’ll know that this is a very common item to find and one that almost always seems to be full of water; even the one nailed to the board for #LitterWatch2017 has collected a few inches of rain.
Scientists have developed an ultra-slippery coating for the inside of bottles to help get every last drop out.
While I would prefer that rubbish not be dropped in the first place, wouldn’t it be great if there was an interior coating that would cause packaging to dissolve when wet?
