Out of curiosity, we started keeping tracking what recyclables we found, recording all of the brand names and categorizing them.* This is what we have for the month of January:
Alcohol: 24.7%
Energy Drinks: 15.0%
Everything Else**: 42.8%
Milk Drinks: 3.5%
Water Bottles: 4.5%
Unknown: 8.5%
Other**: 1%
* Believe it or not, we do actually have a life outside of litter picking!
** The “Everything Else” category includes beverage containers for drinks such colas, juices, sports drinks, etc. The “Other” category are non-beverage recyclables.
