To mark the beginning of Spring, Keep Britain Tidy is inviting communities around the country to clear up.

We at Rubbish Walks are going to give our first organised litter pick a try, and we would like to invite everyone in Chippenham and the surrounding countryside to come out on 21st March to pitch in and give us a hand.
WHERE: Donkey Field, near the Chippenham Football Club and Sports Club (our greeting table will be set up in the car park).
WHEN: Saturday, 21st March from 10:00am – 12:00pm
WHAT TO BRING: Yourself, a friend, a neighbour, a spouse, a child … the more the merrier! We are currently making arrangements to borrow equipment from Wiltshire Council, but if you have an old pair of gardening gloves or your own litter picker, so much the better. We are also trying to arrange refreshments, but please feel free to bring a bottle of water and/or a flask of tea.
WHAT TO WEAR: We won’t lie – litter picking can be a messy business. Please make sure to wear clothes you don’t mind getting a bit dirty, comfortable shoes or wellies, and be prepared for whatever the British weather can throw at us. Even if it’s sunny, we ask that you wear long sleeves to avoid getting scratched by brambles.
Any questions or to confirm your attendance, please drop us a line at rubbishwalkschippenham@gmail.com.
