It’s been great that we’ve been able to get so much publicity for the Love Chippenham campaign over the past month, but I have to admit that this has led to some incredibly surreal experiences. There was the car park radio interview with BBC Wiltshire just before storm Doris hit, and then a number of photos of Beverly and me smiling broadly next to some rubbish bin or another. I feel I should point out that despite our interest in making sure litter goes it belongs, we don’t typically spend that much time lurking by bins!
On a more serious note, I would like to extend a thank you to everyone who helped get the word out about the Love Chippenham campaign, whether by participating in a Community Clean Up, taking part in the Residential Bin Scheme, hanging up a poster, playing the ChippenGo game, or encouraging friends, family members, and neighbours to adopt a local patch. Please keep an eye out for our future activities, or sign up in the sidebar to be emailed about our plans.
