To celebrate the Queen’s 90th birthday this year, the organisation Clean for the Queen is encouraging communities to, well, clean up. Regardless of how you feel about royalty, this is a great chance to get out and conduct a thorough Spring Clean. Check out their website to learn more about how you can get involved.
If you’re in Chippenham, mark your calendars for the 5th and 6th of March. We will be on the town bridge from 9:00am until 3:00pm on the 5th, so please stop by and say hello. Want to put in a shift and volunteer to talk to members of the public about how they can get involved year round? Contact us to sign up for a shift. We’ll then be carrying out a Community Clean Up in Monkton Park the following day, from 10:00am until noon.
If you would like to be emailed about future Off the Ground (Rubbish Walks) events, please send your details to hello@off-the-ground.org.
